PCCP is an acronym for Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe.  There are two types of PCCP, Lined Cylinder Pipe (LCP) and Embedded Cylinder Pipe (ECP), sometimes called SP-5 and SP-12, respectively.  PCCP is manufactured in accordance with the AWWA C301 standard.  Standard pipe cross-sections are shown below.

LCP, Lined Cylinder Pipe, is a type that is typically supplied from 16” to 48” diameter.  ECP, Embedded Cylinder Pipe, is a type that is normally supplied for pipe 54” to 144” sizes, although smaller and large ECP diameters have been produced for special projects.
