History
Rangeline Tapping Services, Inc. is a licensed and insured full service Line Stop and Hot Tapping Utility Contractor. Incorporated in the State of Florida, we work throughout the state. We perform Line Stops and larger diameter Taps in the Eastern portion of the United States.
Rangeline Tapping Services, Inc. was established in 1992 when Founder and President, John Rakoczy, with 5 years experience, purchased a South Florida based Tapping Company. John's brother, Corey Rakoczy became a partner and is the current Vice-President. The Rakoczy brothers have taken Rangeline from a small local company to a multi state operation capable of performing both small and large diameter Taps and Line Stops on all types of pipe including PCCP. In addition to our Tapping and Line Stopping Services, we also offer precision pipe cutting services, pipe freezing services, and Occlude Valve Insertions.
Professional Certifications and Memberships
Rangeline Tapping Services, Inc. is a Certified Underground Utilities Contractor, License #CU-C057091. All Technicians and both owners are schooled in OSHA standards. Rangeline is a member of the National Utility Contractors Association of America (NUCA); Underground Utility Contractors of Florida (UUCF); Michigan Infrastructure & Transportation Association (MITA); American Water Works Association (AWWA) and The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). We are certified with many counties and cities as a qualified vendor to provide regular and emergency services.
